Finding the right balance of rustic and modern while blurring lines between interior and exterior space was the goal of Owner Kevin Walker and Architect Michelle Siu, who met while surfing out in front of the property. Sitting in the line-up, the unobtrusive palm 'Rancho' style roof blends the villa into its natural landscape - a common compliment from local surfers. Native teak and Guanacaste wood are used throughout in all the doors and built-ins. Warm finishes, industrial fixtures, and Balinese mixed with mid-century modern furnishings create a luxurious yet homey environment with plenty of space for large groups to gather and lots of small breakaway spaces for smaller groups.
