An experienced painter usually charges between ₡12,000 and ₡22,000 per hour, depending on difficulty, height and required tools.
Painting iron, gates, or fences is ₡4,000 per sqm.
To paint a full home, the typical range starts at ₡3,000 per sqm for smooth latex paint.
Ceiling painting is ₡4,000 per sqm, and ceiling pasting is ₡3,500 per sqm.

Once you approve the quote including scope, materials and delivery times, we require a 40% upfront payment to start. The remaining amount is paid upon completion.
What factors influence a painter’s quote?
Final cost combines labor, travel and materials. Labor is usually quoted per sqm or per day (roughly ₡12,000–₡25,000 per sqm depending on complexity). Travel can add ₡18,000–₡60,000 depending on distance, standard latex paint averages around ₡3,000 per sqm, and decorative or high‑gloss finishes can exceed ₡12,000 per sqm.
How do I calculate the square meters to paint and paint quantity?
Measure each room: length × width for the ceiling, and width × height for each wall panel. Add the totals and subtract openings larger than 8 sqm, because protecting them takes more time than painting them. With that you can estimate the liters of paint needed and ensure the budget covers all surfaces.
How much can the price vary depending on the finish?
A 30 sqm room with smooth latex in one color is around ₡180,000. If you choose a decorative stucco, the investment can approach ₡310,000 and, if you also need to remove texture, skim coat and repaint, the project can exceed ₡400,000. Additional coats, sealers and drying times also impact labor.
Are materials and tools included?

Yes. Depending on crew availability and condominium or mall regulations, we can schedule Saturday/Sunday or after‑hours shifts for active premises. Please book in advance, as these slots are in high demand and may carry a small logistics surcharge.
