The Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica is known for its pristine beaches, towering coastal mountains and the greatest biodiversity IN THE WORLD. This wonderful house, suspended amongst the canopies, puts you right in the middle of a tropical rainforest in this world-famous ecoregion. Surrounded by sparkling streams, hidden swim holes, river canyons, towering trees, imposing mountains and lush wilderness, the sights and sounds of nature are ever-present. Macaws, toucans, monkeys, sloths, tapirs, poison dart frogs, and buzzing blue morpho butterflies are just some of the neighbors while the waters of the nearby Pacific teem with fish, dolphins, sea turtles, and visiting Humpback Whales.

This nature-immersed home shamelessly peeks its head into the jungle canopies, giving a very unique glimpse into the living forest. Perched on the side of ridge, the home is accessed via a gangway which seemingly transports you into a magical world. The lumber finish, wall-sized jungle murals and an actual tree growing through the house create the impression that you did not step in a structure but rather entered into some sort of portal that hovers between civilization and wilderness. Up front a large, covered deck allows total relaxation and communion with nature – you are literally in the midst of the most biodiverse place in the world! As a bonus, another deck is located below the structure and gives an even more serene space for relaxation and contemplation. Sitting below the house, this second deck is also protected from rain.

The house features an open, lofty design with a kitchen, dining and lounge combined to create an airy and bright space. A loft bedroom hovers above while the master bedroom is self-contained. Numerous windows, openings and skylights, combined with the woody finish and warm decorations, blur the line between civilization and wilderness!

Outside, crystal clear mountains streams entice with their swim holes and beautiful river canyons. There are incredible things to see and explore in every direction. As the seasons change and the jungle pulses with its natural rhythms, you can be sure that no two days will be the same!
